Tuponia, 1875: 98 (as subgenus of Megalodactylus ; upgraded by Reuter, 1878: 16). Type species: Capsus tamarisci Perris, 1857 .
Diagnosis
Recognised within Exaeretini by body generally greenish or yellowish brown without dark patches, slightly glossy with dark or sericeous setae, with indistinct punctures, elongated to oval; head width more than scutellum width; labium reaching hind-coxae; hemelytra with dark setae, membrane entirely or partly greyish; femora without dark patches or few spots; pulvillus absent.
