TYPE SPECIES. — Platycaedicia obiensis, Hebard, 1922 .
REMARKS
Hebard (1922) included two species in this genus: P. obiensis Hebard, 1922 and P. major (Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1878) , the latter often omitted in the litterature.Th e other species of the genus are P.dicranocera Karny, 1926 , P.hospes (Brunner von Wattenwyl,1878) and P. inexpectata (Willemse, 1961) .
