Petrolisthes galathinus (Bosc, 1802) View in CoL

Material examined. Two males (ICMyL MAZ 9332A), one female (ICMyL MAZ 9332B), and five ovigerous females (ICMyL MAZ 9332C) from La Cacaluta (15°43´N, 96°30´W)

Remarks. This species was recorded on the Central American coast from EL Salvador to Ecuador (Hiller et al. 2004). Our data provide the northern-most distribution in the Eastern Pacific, extending its range about 700 km north, and also represents the first record in Mexican waters.
