Material examined. Four males (ICMyL MAZ 9327A), six females (ICMyL MAZ 9327B), and seven juveniles were collected around Isla Roqueta (in the Acapulco region). The southern record for our study was at Estacahuite with six females (ICMyL MAZ 9331B) and one juvenile (ICMyL MAZ 9331C).

Remarks. The geographic distribution of this species is along the Eastern tropical Pacific, from the outer Gulf of California to Ecuador (Brusca 1980). Our data show the presence of the species along Mexican tropical Pacific coast as previously reported for the Huatulco region by García-Madrigal & Andréu-Sánchez (2009).
