Petrolisthes hirtispinosus Lockington, 1878 View in CoL

Material examined. Two females from Islas Marietas (ICMyL MAZ 9339), two females from Zacatoso (ICMyL MAZ 9341B), and two males from Estacahuite (ICMyL MAZ 9347).

Remarks. This species was noted as endemic to the Gulf of California (Brusca 1980), though recently it was recorded in the Huatulco region (García-Madrigal & Andréu-Sánchez 2009). In our study we confirm the presence of the species out of the Gulf of California and provided several sites along the Mexican Tropical Pacific coast, from Islas Marietas to the Huatulco region.
