Distribution.
China (Taiwan). New to Chinese mainland (Yunnan).
Diagnosis.
The species is related to S. wugongshanensis and S. skyliuae. The males can be distinguished by the characters given in Table 2 View Table 2 and the key.
Host.
Recorded from Cyclobalanopsis morii (Hayata) Schottky ( Fagaceae ) ( Beaver and Gebhardt 2006).
