Range:— Bolivia (BE, CO, LP); southeastern Brazil and adjacent Argentina and Paraguay.
Ecology:— Fairly common; saxicolous on wet rocks along deeply shaded streambanks, around cave entrances, and near small waterfalls; 400–1700 m.
