Asplenium repens Hook., Sec. Cent. Ferns View in CoL , t. 31. 1860.
Range:— Colombia to Bolivia (CO, LP).
Ecology:— Fairly common; epiphytic in the understory of humid forests, usually twining on slender branches on shrubs and small trees, rarely on the ground or on mossy rocks ( Krömer et al. 2007); 1000–2150 m.
Notes:— Asplenium quitense Hook. , from Colombia to Peru, may occur in Bolivia. It differs from A. repens in having simple pinnae (vs. 2-lobed) and leaves commonly borne in small clusters (vs. mostly borne singly from along the filiform, stolon-like rhizomes).
