Material examined. Penaeid—2 F; CSL: 2.56 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00263.
Stations. Penaeid—1 and 3.
Distribution. Western Atlantic—Central America, Antilles, Colombia, Brazil (from Pará to São Paulo), Honduras, Roatán, and Bay Island. Eastern Pacific—from the Gulf of California to Panamá ( Melo 1999).
Ecological notes. Inhabits coastal regions to a depth of 30 m, on rock, and sand substrates ( Coelho et al. 1983; Veloso & Melo 1993).
