Material examined. Penaeid—1 M; CLS: 2.70 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00320.
Stations. Penaeid—4.
Distribution. Western Atlantic—USA (North Carolina, Florida, Gulf of Mexico), Central America, Antilles, Suriname, and Brazil (Fernando de Noronha, Atol das Rocas, Pará, Ceará, Pernambuco, Sergipe, Bahia, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, and Santa Catarina) ( Rieger & Giraldi 1997; Melo 1999; Coelho et al. 2007; Barros-Alves et al. 2015).
Ecological notes. From intertidal to 55 m. Under rocks, on sand and mud bottoms, and on calcareous algae ( Melo 1999).
Remarks. Found in the present study associated with the Bryozoa Reteporella sp. Busk (family Phidoloporidae ).
