Material examined. Petro-UFS—69 (8 M, 4 F); size range: 49.94 ≤ CW ≤ 98.81 mm; average: CW = 72.25 ± 12.34 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00020. Penaeid—37 (15 M, 20 F, 2 OF); size range: 41.28 ≤ CW ≤ 108.47 mm; average: CW = 85.73 ± 18.00 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00224.
Stations. Petro-UFS—1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17; Penaeid—1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9.
Distribution. Western Atlantic—USA (North Carolina, Florida and Gulf of Mexico), Antilles, Venezuela, Suriname, Guyana, French Guiana, and Brazil (from Amapá to Espirito Santo, and Paraná) ( Melo 1996; Willems et al. 2015).
Ecological notes. From shallow waters to 200 m. On sand, mud, and calcareous algae bottoms ( Melo 1996).
