Ericerodes minusculus (Coelho, 1972)

Material examined. Petro-UFS—3 M; size range: 6.53 ≤ CW ≤ 6.82 mm; average: CW = 6.69 ± 0.15 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00121. Penaeid—1 M; CW = 3.35 mm; CZUFS CRU- 00241.

Station. Petro-UFS—12; Penaeid—3.

Distribution. Western Atlantic—Brazil (from Ceará to Bahia, including the banks off Rio Grande do Norte) ( Coelho 1967 /1969, 1971, 1972, 2006; Coelho & Ramos 1972; Barreto & Coelho 1994; Melo 1996, as Podochela minuscula ; Coelho et al. 2008, as E. minusculus ).

Ecological notes. Found between 20 and 60 m, on sand, and calcareous algae bottoms ( Melo 1996).

Remarks. Coelho (2006) transferred Podochela minuscula to Ericerodes Rathbun , in a revision of the genus Podochela .
