Onconeura View in CoL View at ENA sp. “ET157”
Thienemanniella View in CoL spec. II: Ospina-Torres 1992: 224.
Material examined. 1 pupal exuviae, BRAZIL, Amazonas, Manaus, Reserva Duke, A174-3- Igarapé Barro Branco (BB1), 8.v.1961, Fittkau. 1 pupal exuviae, same data as previous, except for A193- Igarapé Acará below waterfall I (A3). 26.vi.1961. 1 pupal exuviae, same data as previous except for A194 - small river of Igarapé Acará (A4).
Diagnostic characters. The pupae are separable from other species by having 4 L-setae on segments III– VII, anal lobe fringe longer than twice as long as anal lobe length. Median area of TII usually without shagreen and few hooklets on the conjunctives, specially on TV/VI.
Remarks. The material examined is not in very good condition to be described here. But the few hooklets on the conjunctives seem to be characteristic. The first two pupal exuviae examined show sternite II without shagreen. The pupal exuviae from sampling site A4 (see material examined) was not very chitinized but we could observe fine shagreen on sternite II, being possibly yet another species.
