Notonyx gigacarcinicus Clark & Ng 2006 View in CoL
( Figs. 5 View FIGURE 5. A – E F, G, 6A)
Notonyx gigacarcinicus Clark & Ng, 2006: 544 View in CoL View Cited Treatment , figs 4, 5, 6B, 7; Ng et al. 2008: 80 (list).
Material. 1 male, 10.0 × 7.8 mm ( MZB Cru 2783), 1 male, 7.2 × 5.5 mm ( ZRC 2010.0292), Sira, northern Lombok, Lesser Sunda Islands, 08°21.641'S, 116°06.272' E, coll. 21 July 2009. Comparative material - holotype, male, 12.1 × 8.7 mm ( ZRC 2000.0981), 1 female, 13.8 × 9.9 mm ( ZRC 2000.0982), in reef rubble, Ao Tang Khen Bay, Phuket, Thailand, coll. May 2000.
Remarks. The material agrees with the description of the species by Clark & Ng (2006). Examination of the holotype (ZRC 2000.0981), showed that the G2 is slightly different when viewed from different angles; the distal part is not just hooked (see Clark & Ng 2006: fig. 5I) but it is actually twisted twice and the tip is directed upwards ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5. A – E F, G). This same shape is also found in the specimen from Lombok.
The life colour of the specimens from Lombok ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 B) is similar to that reported by Clark & Ng (2006: fig. 7) for this species.
Distribution. Phuket (Western Thailand) and Lombok, Lesser Sunda Islands ( Indonesia).
