NOTES. This species was described based on a few specimens from Shan State in Myanmar and Chinese Province Yunnan ( Naviaux, 2008). Among its allies from Vietnam that share a bicoloured labrum ( Figs 8–12 View Figs 3–12 ), N. restricta is recognizable well by the pronotum conical, with subrectilinear sides ( Figs 5 View Figs 3–12 , 15 View Figs 13–22 vs. Figs 3, 4, 6, 7 View Figs 3–12 , 13, 14, 16, 17 View Figs 13–22 ), the aedeagus slender at base, with very short and straight endophallic flagellum ( Fig. 20 View Figs 13–22 vs. Figs 18, 19, 21, 22 View Figs 13–22 ). This is the first record of the species in Vietnam.
