Material examined: ECUADOR: Región XII, near Pasochoa Res. Pichinca, 3000 m a.s.l., holotype male, 4.ii.1997, J. Skartveit. ( ZMBN Type No. 425). Paratypes 2 males , same as holotype.
Diagnostic characters: The presence of a single pars ventralis ( Fig. 30 G View FIGURE 30 ) about twice as wide as long and without setae together with the tongue-like strongly projecting inferior volsella and from other species with pars ventralis.

Distribution
The species is known from Ecuador (Andersen et al. 2010).
