Material examined: BRAZIL: Paraná, Ponta Grossa, Fazenda Paiquerê, Malaise , holotype male, 8.ii.2002, E.A. Nascimento ( MZUSP). Other material as in Andersen et al. (2010: 69) .

Diagnostic characters: The male imago can be separated from other species with bifurcate gonostylus by having the inward curved secondary lobe of the gonostylus about as long as the main lobe, and the long anterior lobe of the median volsella.

The species, from Paraná and Santa Catarina State in Brazil, is described in detail in Andersen et al. (2010: 69) .
