Key to the species of Albistyla View in CoL
1) First abdominal tergite (T1+2) conspicuously large, over 3X length of T3. Mid tibia of male with apicoventral bristle longer than tibial width. Sternite 5 of male with a single pair of conspicuously large bristles extending over posterior lobes ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 6 – 8 )..................................................................................................... 2

Sternite 5 of male with only clusters of uniformly sized bristles ( Fig. 2 View FIGURES 1 – 5 )................................................................................... 2) Mid tibia with mid and apical bristles ventrally............................... Albistyla occulta View in CoL new species. Ecuador.
