Description. Male (holotype). Antennae longer than body, basal segment distinctly inflated and prolonged. Pronotum elongate and slightly broadened caudad, triangular in lateral view; posterior margin of pronotal disc with an indistinct broadly obtuse concavity. Anterior femur with 3 indistinct, minute spines near apex on ventro-anterior margin; anterior tibiae with 4 sparsely-arranged small spines on ventro-anterior margin; anterior tibiae dorsally nearly flat, with tympanum conchate on both sides; widened at and gradually constricted below tympana. Mid femur with 3 indistinctly small spines on ventro-anterior margin; mid tibiae with 6 small spines on ventro-anterior margin. Hind femur slender, arched, over half length of tegmen, not reaching apex of tegmen. Hind femur with 6–7 anterior spines on dorsal margins, and 2 spines near apex on ventro-posterior margin; hind tibiae slender, longer than hind femur, with 9 anterior and 15–16 posterior spines on dorsal margins, with 8–9 anterior and 5 posterior spines on each ventral margin. Tegmen very broad, elongate, shorter than hind wing, with rounded apex. Anterior margin of tegmen distinctly expanding outwards about at apical 3/4 area. Male stridulatory file length about 3.10– 3.15 mm. Male stridulatory file arched symmetry. Stridulatory file composed of about 79–82 widely regularlyarranged teeth, among which 43 largest teeth are of equal size lying at center towards apex, gradually becoming smaller towards both ends. Male right stridulatory area with distinct mirror. Hind wing translucent with exception of apical area; anal area distinctly broadened. Epiproct simple, without specialization. Male cerci densely hairy, long, clavate and incurved; with apex obtuse granulated and verrucate. Subgenital plate elongate, triangle, with notch at apex; styli clavate.

Female unknown.

Coloration. Generally yellowish green or brown when alive. Body, antennae, pronotum, middle and hind legs, dorsal surface of abdomen and subgenital plate yellowish green. Head brown, with faint green dorsal surface. Pronotum with a brown stripe along the lateral margin of pronotal disc. Fore leg brown, yellowish green middle and hind legs with numerous black spines. Tegmen yellowish green or brown, with some irregular brown blotches. Area of male left stridulatory file with a large black spot. Anal area of male left tegmen with a black small spot near apex. Hind wing translucent, with a reddish orange bar in every cell except those cells near margin and apex. Half of apical angle of hind wing black-ringed, and outer margin brownish red. Lateral surface of abdomen brown, with yellow spiracles. Cerci yellowish green, with brown apex.

Biology. All specimens were collected at light traps in the rainforest. In Medog (Tibet), the altitude of the location is 800m to 1200m; and in Dulongjiang (W-Yunnan), altitude of location is about 1250m. In the rearing room, males produced simple and short calling songs, which include a few long-interval sole tones. The insects feed on leaves of Alnus nepalensis D. Don (Betulaceae) and Rubus sp. ( Rosaceae ).

Etymology. The new species is named after first author's grandmother Shuzhen Xiang.

Measurements of male holotype (mm). Length of body: 69.53; length of pronotum: 10.32; largest height of pronotum: 4.89; length of tegmen: 43.62; largest width of tegmen: 17.28; length of hind wing: 51.65; length of anterior femur: 7.60; length of posterior femur: 19.64; length of posterior tibiae: 21.06.

Discussion. Compared with L. ornatipennis , this new species possesses obviously slender and large size, noticeably narrow tegmen and pronotum, comparatively long male stridulatory file, relatively long and straight male cerci. In addition, hind wing of the new species is rich, brown-black ribbon coherent to entire anal area. This species is distributed on the North limitation of the genus.

Distribution. China, Tibet-Medog (700–1200m); Yunnan-Dulongjiang (1250m).
