Diagnosis. Thorax and abdominal tergites brown. Hairs at rear of tergite 6 short. Mesopleuron bare. Legs yellow. Costal index 0.49.
Female. Frons and postpedicels, which lack SPS vesicle, as Fig. 64; 65 View FIGS 64–73 , palps and proboscis; 66, side of thorax; 67, abdomen; 68, tergite 6 to cerci; 69, Dufour’s crop mechanism; 70, front tarsus; 71, mid tibia and segments 1 and 2 of tarsus; 72, hind femur. Wing ( Fig. 73 View FIGS 64–73 ) 1.34 mm long. Costal index 0.49. Costal ratios 5.73/3.71/1. Sc runs to R1. Costal cilia 0.06 mm long. Vein 3 hair 0.04 mm. 2 unequal axillary bristles the outer being 0.04 mm long. Halteres brown.
Material examined. IRAN • 1 ♀; Esfahan province, Mobarakeh, Arazi ; 32.4036°N, 51.6097 E; alt. 1646 m a.s.l.; 14 Sep. 2022; J. Karimzadeh leg.; reared from larvae of Spodoptera exigua feeding on cauliflower; UCMZ, 26–97; deposited in UCMZ (Cambridge, GoogleMaps UK).
