Diagnosis. Females differs from that of T. hudsoni sp. nov. in the more extensive brown areas on the carapace and abdomen ( Fig. 131a View FIGURE 131 ) and very long spines on tibiae and metatarsi I and II. Male unknown.

Etymology. The species epithet is a noun in apposition from the township near the type locality, Dingo.

Carapace 3.75 long, 2.63 wide. Abdomen 4.81 long, 3.56 wide. Total length 8.6.

Colour: carapace orange brown with wide brown margins, narrow irregular band then brown central region; chelicerae dark brown; eye group dark brown; abdomen dorsally blue black with eight paired irregular pallid patches; ventrally pallid. Sternum, maxillae, labium and coxae yellow brown; legs (IV missing) yellow brown with brown distal half of femora I–III and patellae brown and dark shadows on tibiae and metatarsi. Carapace: distinct pre-foveal saddle with raised caput; fovea on cone ridge; white feathery hairs on lateral margins and beside eye group; margins with short ridge or shelf with short horizontal setae in line on low mounds. Eyes: back row slightly wider than front. Chelicerae: fang shield distinct rounded with short curved thick modified black setae vertically: three fine basally, ca. seven thick distally; each setae flattened with smooth ectal edge and deeply serrate distal edge; two teeth on both margins, basal smaller on promargin. Sternum: weak intercoxal extensions at I/II. Legs: trochanters I–III with shallow asymmetrical notch; large feathery hairs on femora to metatarsi. Spines: very long erect on I and II; long and overlapping on tibiae and metatarsi I and II. I: fe pv1p2d3r1; ti p2v2.2.2.2; me p2v2.2. II: fe pv1p2d3r1; ti p2v2.2.2.2; me p2v2.2. III: fe p3d3r3; ti p2d1r2v2.2.1; me p3r3v2.2.3. IV missing. Palp: fe p1d2; pa p1; ti p2d1; ta p1v 2w. Palp: claw with 2–3 small teeth. Abdomen: small, trianguloid dorsal scute only anterior; genital scute with unsclerotised ones laterally; tracheal scute subquadrate with wide distal ridge. Epigyne: two fossae set anteriorly.

Distribution and Habitat. Known from open eucalypt forest on Blackdown Tableland, via Dingo, mideastern Queensland south to Lake Broadwater and Girraween, southeastern Queensland.
