Diagnosis. Males differ from those of L. bimaculatus and L. kroombit in lacking a paracymbial spine ( Fig. 54b View FIGURE 54 ); females differ from those of L. kroombit in the relatively wider separated copulatory openings ( Fig. 54c View FIGURE 54 ).
Supplementary description holotype male QM S31555 View Materials . Carapace 3.16 long, 2.47 wide. Total length 6.2. Like ♀ except as follows: spines: I: fe pv1d2; ti v2.2.2; me v2.2. II: like I but also ti p1. III: fe p2d3r2; ti p2d1r2v2.2.2; me p3r3v2.2.3. IV: fe p2d3r1; ti p2d1r2v2.2.3; me p3r3v2.2.3. Palp: fe p1d2; pa p1 weak; ti p 2w. Palp: femur with long retrodistal bulge. Paracymbial spine entirely absent; bulb like L. bimaculatus .
Female. Based on allotype and QM S31545 View Materials . Carapace 4.00 long, 3.06 wide. Total length 9.1. Colour: dorsal scute small, darker orange brown; genital scute orange brown. Carapace: light cover of feathery white hairs on interstrial ridges. Chelicerae: large, porrect; fang shield low. 3P, 2 R. Sternum: with strong edge and inner groove, not pustulose. Slight precoxal thickenings opposite all coxae, precoxal sclerites only at I/ II. Legs: coxae not ventrally pustulose. RCH evident; all trochanters notched shallowly. Scopula on tarsi I– IV for distal half, divided on metatarsi I and II; sparsely setose; no feathery hairs evident. Spines: tibiae & metatarsi I and II with long tapering spines, 5–15% overlapping. I: fe p1d2; ti v2.2.2; me v2.2. II: fe p1d2; ti v2.2.2; me v2.2. III: fe p2d3r1; ti p2r2v2.2.2; me p3d3v2.2.3. IV: fe p2d3r1; ti p2r2v2.2.2; me p3r3v2.2.3. Palp: fe p1d2; pa p1d1 apical bristle; ti p2 basal; ta p2r1v3 distal. Claws: short dentate, few long spatulate hairs just above it. Claw tufts bigger on IV than on I. Abdomen: small, triangular dorsal scute from front just onto dorsal surface; no ventral scute; genital scute with distinct paragenital brackets extending laterally over distal booklung margin; tracheal scute small, ovoid with rounded ridge. Epigyne: broad, domed with paired spiralled lateral fossae .
Distribution and Habitat. Known only from rainforest in the Bunya Mtns and Yarraman, Southeast Queensland.
