Material: 2 males, 2.vii.2000, Australia, Queensland, surroundings of Cairns, Mount Malloy near Kuranda, wet tropics, leg. W. Mohrig ( PWMP).

Comments. The species is characteriZed by flagellomeres with a rough surface and very long bristles, much longer than the diameter of the basal node, a nearly comb-like row of bristles on the apex of the fore tibia, and a gonostylus with 3 short robust apical spines as well as a long spine on a large lobe in the basal half, near the base of the gonostylus. Specimens from Queensland are identical with C. gladiota Mohrig from Papua New Guinea in all morphological details. The species belongs to the C. parvula group, which is species-rich and mainly distributed in the Holarctic region.
