Material examined. South Korea: 1♂ ( KU): Gyeonggido , Gapyeong-gun , Buk-myeon , Jeokmok-ri , Garimgyo (Br.), 37°58′36.4″N 127°26′35.5″E, 2014.IV.12 - IV.26, Bae YJ (by Malaise trap) GoogleMaps , 12♂ & 22$( KU) , 1♂ ( NIBR, NIBRIN0000784337 ): same locality, 2017. V .19, Bae YJ (by sweeping).

Diagnosis. General body color pale yellow patterned with white ( Figs. 14 View Figs , 22 View Figs ), wing venation typical for the genus ( Fig. 19 View Figs ). Male: Epiproct short, flat, and forming a small triangle ( Figs. 12, 13 View Figs ). Penial armature pitchfork-shaped ( Figs. 17, 18 View Figs ). Female: General pattern similar to males. Subgenital plate barely protruding and medially not rounded ( Figs. 15, 16 View Figs ).

Distribution. Korea (new record), Russia (Far East).

Remarks. This species was hitherto known only from Russia ( Teslenko, 2009; DeWalt et al., 2023). It is introduced for the first time for the Korean fauna. Hitherto the genus Haploperla was known only by unidentifiable female specimens from South Korea ( Ham, 2008).
