General distribution: Palaearctic Region, from Europe east to north-west China.

Note: Re-examination of the material upon which the record from the Novosibirskaya Oblast’ was based shows that it was probably misidentified, but work to establish its identity is ongoing.

General distribution: East Siberia and Nearctic Region (Northwest Territories, Manitoba, Labrador) .

Siberian records: River Nizhnyaya Tunguska, Mt. Lavrushi, Respublika Sakha: probably Yakutsk [as “Jakut.” in German] ( Hennig, 1960a: 429); East Siberia ( Pont, 1986a: 186).

General distribution: Palaearctic Region, from Europe east to Japan, and also Pakistan.

General distribution: East Palaearctic Region: Russia (East Siberia and Far East), Mongolia, China (Qinghai), and Nearctic Region.

Siberian records: Taymyr Peninsula, River Boganida (Erichson in Middendorff, 1851: 67, type-locality of frigida View in CoL ); Nikandrik Island, Yenisey estuary ( Becker, 1900: 47, type-locality of parcespinosa View in CoL ; Becker, 1904: 52); Siberia ( Becker, 1904: 55); north-west Siberia ( Zimin & El’berg, 1970: 554); West and East Siberia ( Pont, 1986a: 186).

General distribution: Holarctic Region; rare in Europe, Russia (Siberia) and North China.

Lispe melaleuca Loew, 1847: 28 View in CoL . Type-locality: Italy, Sicily. Syntypes 4♂ 2♀, ZMHU, 1♂ 1♀, ZIN, and 1♂, OUMNH (all seen by Pont, 2004: 77; Pont & Werner, 2006: 67).

The record given by Hennig (1960b: 446) from south of Lake Baykal (Priyutsk Kol. west of Almatinka Semir), upon which subsequent records from East Siberia are based ( Zimin & El’berg, 1970: 554; Pont, 1986a: 188), should be deleted from the Siberian list as this locality is actually in Kazakhstan.

General distribution: Palaearctic Region, from Europe east to China, and also the north-west of the Oriental Region (Kashmir).

General distribution: Palaearctic Region, from Europe east to the Russian Far East; also Oriental and Afrotropical ( Sudan, Cape Verde Is) Regions.

Siberian records: Novosibirskaya Oblast’ ( Sorokina, 2006a: 230); Yamalo-Nenetskiy AO: Salekhard [as “Obdorsk”], Respublika Sakha [Yakutiya]: Yakutsk, Olenek village, Darbinskaya on east bank of River Lena and River Lena at 66 o 26'N ( Hennig, 1960b: 458); valley of River Yenisey, forest steppe: Krasnoyarskiy Kray (Minusinsk, Shushenskoe), Respublika Tyva (Kyzyl, Cherbi) ( Sychevskaya, 1974: 129); West and East Siberia ( Pont, 1986a: 190).

General distribution: Holarctic, Neotropical ( Guadeloupe I., Guatemala, Peru) and Oriental ( India (Kashmir) and Pakistan) Regions; in the Palaearctic Region, from Europe east to Japan.
