Type locality and specimens. Habitat: Columbia: Inirida?
Dimensions. Pedum paria [leg pairs] ♀ 65. Long. corp. [body length] mm 46, lat. 1,3 [width 1.3 mm].
Type material. Holotype ♀ ( ZMH-A0000574 ). COLOMBIA: Inírida River (middle course) [ca. 2°34’N, 69°39’W]. The specimen is dissected and the head and the posterior trunk segments are stored in separate microvi- als. GoogleMaps

Old type catalogue. Weidner (1960), p. 62, No. 8. Holotype ♀.
Collection remarks. The specimen was collected by the photographer and salesman Georg Hübner (1862– 1935) and Oskar Schneider (1841–1903), a German teacher and professor. See Harms & Dupérré (2018: 13) for details on Hübner’s travels.
Additional remarks. Pereira et al. (1994: 171–174) provide a redescription of the species from the type.
Current systematic position. Ribautia centralis ( Silvestri, 1907) ; transferred to this genus by Ribaut (1912: 84).
