Especie de distribución paleártica occidental ( PRIETO PILOÑA et al., 2002); en África está citada de Marruecos y Argelia ( PEYERIMHOFF, 1934; SIKES et al., 2002). La localidad de Tánger ya fue publicada por MARTÍNEZ DE LA ESCALERA (1914).
