Type Locality: Haití, cave approximately 4 mi. (6.4 km) E St. Michel.
Vernacular Names: St. Michael Nesophontes.
Distribution: Haití.
Conservation: IUCN – Extinct.
Discussion: Some analyzed bones from Haítí dated from the 14th century ( MacPhee et al., 1999). Found in association with Rattus bones.
