Note.
This adventive species, the adults of which feed on the roots and foliage of a variety of host plants (although most frequently on Fabaceae ), was known previously in North America from southeastern USA west to Texas ( Anderson 2002). This species can be an important pest of alfalfa ( Medicago sativa L., Fabaceae ).
