2. Rhinatrema Duméril & Bibron, 1841 .

Type species: Caecilia bivittata Guérin-Méneville, 1838 ( Fig. 7 ) by original monotypy. Diagnosis: The only rhinatrematids with short tails (fewer than 10 postcloacal annuli). Distribution: Brazil, French Guiana, Guyana, Suriname.

Content: Three species ( bivittatum , shiv, ron ).
