Least Concern for European assessment ( Hochkirch et al. 2016).

Distribution

Europe, North Africa, Middle East and Asia to China ( Massa et al. 2012). In Italy, it is widespread in the whole country. It is absent from Sardinia ( Iorio et al. 2019, Massa et al. 2012).

Notes

It lives on bare ground in a wide variety of dry, open habitats like grassland, slopes, roadside verges and forest clearings. The adults can be found in summer and autumn ( Massa et al. 2012).
