Type locality: Brazil, São Paulo, Bocaina .

Paratype ♂ with labels: (1) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white paper: “ São Paulo | Bocaina | Pjiitz leg. | iv.24 [iv.1924] [in vertical position]”; (2) printed on yellow paper: “ Acrochaeta | pseudopolychaeta ♂ | Fachin & Amorim 2015 | Paratype ”.

Condition of type: right wing damaged on costal vein before discal cell and on R1 reaching M1 basally. Missing parts: all right antennal flagellomeres; left mid leg, except for coxa and trochanter.

Paratype ♂ with labels: (1) printed with handwritten inscriptions on white paper: “ São Paulo | Bocaina | iv.24 [iv.1924] [in vertical position]”; (2) printed on yellow paper: “ Acrochaeta | pseudopolychaeta ♂ | Fachin & Amorim 2015 | Paratype ”.

Condition of type: good. Missing parts: almost all extension of left arista (fifth flagellomere).
