Diagnosis. Female. Measurements: approximate body length: 10.4–10.8; head width: 4.5; forewing length: 7.5–7.5; F1 length: 0.7; F2 length: 0.2; F3 length: 0.18; mandible length: 2.06; mandible basal width: 0.6. Coloration: black, with mandible, paraocular area, lateral area of clypeus, supraclipeal area (triangle), labrum and apex of fore and midtibiae yellow. Wing membrane light brown. Pilosity: yellow in head and mesosoma, except the occiput and ventral area of mesosoma, fore femora, T5 and S5 with whitish pilosity. Metasoma with simple, scarce, short and black pilosity. Pygidial fimbria formed by simple pilosity. Integument: smooth with dense and uniform punctures on clypeus, paraocular area, and vertex; punctures coarser in frons and slightly less dense in labrum. Metasoma with fine, very dense and uniform punctures. Structure: mandible quadridentate, 2.4 times longer than wide. Trimmal angle almost straight. Labrum semicircular. Ocular orbits subpararell. Primary basitibial plate with rudimentary secondary plate. Fore elaiospathe with the primary anterior comb placed in the distal half of the forebasitarsi. Secondary anterior comb reduced to two short setae. Hind elaiospathe with anterior comb formed by slightly separate setae. Pygidial plate with rounded apex, with rudimentary secondary plate, reduced to a vertical slightly elevated portion.
Male. Measurements: approximate body length: 9.6–9.8; forewing length: 8.6–8.7; head width: 4.2; F1 length: 0.5; F2 length: 0.17; F3 length: 0.29; mandible length: 1.4; mandible basal width: 0.6. Coloration: similar to female, except clypeus, basal portion of hindtibiae and scape beneath yellow. Pilosity: similar to female, except lateral area of T7 with white pilosity. Integument: similar to female. Structure: mandible tridentate, 2.2 times longer than wide. Trimmal angle straight. Labrum semicircular. Ocular orbits slightly convergent above. Hind legs not swelled, except tibiae. Pygidial plate present, slightly elevated and apically bifurcated.
