Note:—The fossil-species Ocotea undulata (Weyland & Kilpper) Uzunova & Stojanova (1999: 10) , based on fossil leaves preserved cuticular and stomata structure, is an illegitimate homonym of the extant species, Ocotea undulata (Meisner) Mez (1889: 278) ; therefore, a new replacement name is introduced.
