Distribution: SE Nigeria (Cross River), Cameroon, Republic of Congo, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, NE Angola, Central African Republic, Dem. Rep. Congo north and east of Congo-Lualaba system, W Uganda (to Busoga), Burundi.

Conservation: CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Lower Risk (lc).
