Treatment

Type species. Ranongus eugenus Chandrapatya & Boczek, 2000c: 214–215 , 216–217.

Diagnosis. Body fusiform; prodorsal shield with a posterior plate projecting over anterior annuli, scapular setae (sc) and tubercles near rear shield margin, directed posteriorly; empodium entire; coxae I and coxae II each with 3 setae; opisthosoma with a furrow.

This genus is monotypic ( Amrine et al. 2003).
