Rhombacus bangkoki nom. nov.
Rhombacus eucalypti Boczek in Chandrapatya & Boczek, 1991c: 448–450.
Host. Eucalyptus sp. (Myrtaceae) .
Habit. Vagrant.
Distribution. Thailand (Bangkok).
Remarks. Rhombacus eucalypti from Eucalyptus cypellocarpa in India was named by Ghosh & Chakrabarti (1987) and has priority over Rhombacus eucalypti Boczek, 1991 . Flechtmann & Santana (2001) redescribed Rhombacus eucalypti Ghosh & Chakrabarti, 1987 on Eucalyptus terreticornis , E. grandis , E. camaldulensis from Brazil, with a complementary description of the female, male and larva. The specific designation bangkoki is from the name of the collection location.
