Type species. Visinus dimocarpi Chandrapatya in Chandrapatya & Boczek, 1996: 74, 75.
Diagnosis. Body fusiform; scapular setae (sc) and tubercles on rear shield margin,directed posterior; anterolateral setae on coxisternum І (1b) absent; paraxial tibial seta (l’) absent, empodium entire; opisthosoma with annuli differentiated.
This genus is monotypic ( Amrine et al. 2003).
