Abacarus Keifer, 1944

Type species. Calepitrimerus acalyptus Keifer, 1939d: 490 , 502.

Diagnosis. Body fusiform; scapular setae (sc) and tubercles on rear shield margin, directed posteriorly; coxae I and coxae II each with 3 setae; legs with usual segmentation and setae, empodium entire; dorsal opisthosoma with 3 ridges, middorsal ridge shorter than subdorsal ridges, ending in a furrow.

This genus consists of 50 species ( Amrine et al. 2003). Six of these have been recorded from Southeast Asia.
