Treatment

Type species. Areekulus eugeniae Chandrapatya in Boczek & Chandrapatya, 1998b: 32, 33.

Diagnosis. Body fusiform; gnathosoma large, abruptly curved and bent down near base; femoral setae absent from both legs, genual setae only present on leg I, empodium entire; coxae I and coxae II each with 3 setae.

This genus is monotypic ( Amrine et al. 2003).
