Type species. Dechela epelis Keifer, 1965a: 3–4 .
Diagnosis. Body fusiform; female genitalia appressed to coxae; tarsal I solenidion located below empodium; scapular tubercles and setae absent.
This genus is monotypic ( Amrine et al. 2003).
