Colomerus Newkirk & Keifer, 1971

Type species. Eriophyes gardeniella Keifer, 1964b: 9–10 .

Diagnosis. Body vermiform; female genitalia appressed to coxae; scapular tubercles and setae present, prodorsal shield without frontal lobe; legs with usual segmentation and setae, empodium entire.

This genus consists of 25 species ( Amrine et al. 2003). Only one species has been recorded from Southeast Asia.
