Type species. Gammaphytoptus camphorae Keifer, 1939a: 7 , 19.
Diagnosis. Body fusiform; female genitalia appressed to coxae; scapular tubercles and setae present, prodorsal shield with frontal lobe; legs with usual segmentation and setae, empodium entire; opisthosoma divided into broad dorsal annuli and narrow ventral annuli.
This genus consists of 5 species ( Amrine et al. 2003). Only one species has been recorded from Southeast Asia.
