Calacarus Keifer, 1940

Type species. Calacarus pulviferus Keifer, 1940: 163–164 , 174.

Diagnosis. Body fusiform; empodium entire; scapular setae (sc) absent; coxae I and coxae II each with 3 setae; opisthosoma with 5 ridges, middorsal ridge disappearing with subdorsal ridges.

This genus consists of 41 species ( Amrine et al. 2003). Eight species have been recorded from Southeast Asia.
