Type species. Spinacus pagonis Keifer, 1979: 11–12 .
Diagnosis. Body fusiform; empodium entire; scapular setae (sc) on rear shield margin, spine-like, prodorsal shield with anterior lobe; opisthosoma with weak furrow.
This genus consists of 3 species ( Amrine et al. 2003). One species has been recorded from Southeast Asia.
