Diagnosis.
The color pattern is unique in the genus, viz. largely ochraceous yellow but head piceous with pair large, sub-rectangular areas laterally on the frons; the notauli, posterior 1 / 2 of middle lobe of mesoscutum and scutellum paler; metasomal tergites bicolorous, ochraceous except TT 1 and 2 and anterolateral corners of T 3 and posterior margin of T 5 which are ivory-white. In addition, see Quicke and Ingram (1993: 331–332, figs 3, 87, 112, 113).
