Hyposoter kontzeii ( Kiss, 1924)

Omorgus kontzeii Kiss, 1924 : holotype ♀ in HNHM, examined by Horstmann.

We have not seen this species. Horstmann (2009) transferred it to Hyposoter View in CoL and included it in his draft key. So far as we know, the species is known only from the holotype. Horstmann’s notes indicate that the label of the holotype states that it was obtained ‘ex larva’, but there is no indication of the kind of larva involved, nor was there any mention of this in the original description. The holotype was collected in Romania.
