Records from Cyprus. Troodos Distr., Mt. Olympos, 1900 m, under bark of a fallen Pinus ( Strasser, 1967) View in CoL .

New material. NHMW: many ♂ & ♀: TH 209, CY 95-19: Troodos Olymp [Troodos Olympos], 1900 m, 21.IV.1995, BT & KT leg., BV det.

Distribution. The species is only known from Cyprus ( Strasser, 1967, present study).

Taxonomic remarks. Cypriopachyiulus seems to be an autochthonous Cypriotic genus. This is further supported by the two undescribed species listed below, which were found among the studied material. The genus is well defined by the well-developed, pointed pre-anal process, the expanded male mandibular stipites, in combination with the absence of a fovea and a pseudoflagellum on the opisthomere.
