Coniceromyia piricornis Borgmeier

Remarks. We illustrate here some previously unreported features of this species: ventral band of dense setulae on the anterior face of the midfemur ( Fig. 26M ) and hind tibia with dorsal excavation with a group of dense shorter setulae ( Figs. 26E ). This last feature is possibly homologous to the dorsal carina on the hind tibia of C. diadella ( Fig. 26F ).
