TYPE MATERIAL. — Holotype female: New Caledonia, no precision (coll. Brunner v. Wattenwyl No. 4735), NMV.

TYPE LOCALITY. — New Caledonia (no precision).

MATERIAL EXAMINED. — New Caledonia: 2 ♂ ( MNHN-ENSIF N. La Foa, 450-550 m, forêt sempervirente, 18.II.1994, nuit, sur 1085, 1090), 2 ♀ ( MNHN-ENSIF 1086 , 1087 ) (L. Desutter-Gran- Pandanaceae, L. Desutter-Grandcolas det.; 1 ♀ ( MNHN-ENSIF dcolas), 8 km NW Col d’Amieu, N. La Foa, abattage, Pied Table 1089) (L. Desutter-Grandcolas), 3 km WNW Col d’Amieu, N. Unio, 22.II.1994, L. Desutter-Grandcolas det.; 1 ♀ (MNHN-EN- La Foa, 450-550 m, forêt sempervirente, 30.XII.1996, nuit, au SIF 1088 View Materials ) (L. Desutter-Grandcolas), 3 km WNW Col d’Amieu , sol, près de la base d’un tronc, T. Robillard det. MNHN .

ADDITIONAL CHARACTERS. — Black coloration on dorsum of head extending beyond posterior margin of eyes; occiput red brown. Scape and pedicel orange brown; flagellum blackish brown.

Male: FW venation (Fig. 8). No stridulatory apparatus, not even a file; 9 longitudinal veins strong over their whole length.

Female: ovipositor slightly surpassing hind wings; apex of dorsal valve with irregular striation on external surface, with smooth dorsal area (Fig. 27).
